HEY JieMeis!!

I went to Orchard Rd yesterday. So, while walking along Orchard Rd, i had this wonderful kaboom! in my brain. I was thinking since we had given Prom night in TJC a miss last year, it's kind of regrettable right? In the sense that there's something missing in our lives because we did not get the chance to hang out together while we're dressed somewhat prettily. We didn't have the opportunity to have the chance to look at so-and-so all prettily dolled up like a tantalising wedding cake. Therefore, i was thinking why not have our own toned-down version of PROM. We don't have to be so elaborately dressed like Prom but at least we can try to look presentable and stuff. Wear something other than denim and tee-shirts. The dress code can discuss later. Then, we can have dinner somewhere in Singapore with gorgeous night view. Like Clarke Quay or Orchard Road and just let ourselves dip into the atmosphere. Imagine all seven of us sashay down the streets side-by-side like the actresses in 'Sex and the City'. Haha! Ok la. The younger version and minus the sordid hanky panky part but at least you all can get the picture right?

Anyway, it's just an idea from my part. Just felt that it would be fun and may leave funny memories. Next time when you're old, you can tell your grandkids, "When Ah ma was young, about 18/19, Ah ma and her bunch of good friends snubbed Tj's Prom Night. We didn't attend. We organised out own one. We made up and donned pretty clothes and walked down one of the beautifully lit streets in Singapore. Ah ma was so happy at that time. " or something like "Ah ma had a friend, always called herself 'The Nut'. We agreed to dress nicely and have a sumptious dinner at Orchard Rd. On our way there, she slipped and fell due to her 1 inch high heels, much to our horror. "

Ya... So what do you all think? Hope everyone can give your comments. That's just a sudden idea on my part. A make-up Prom. :) Smile!
